At Polestar Tuition we specialise in providing GCSE tuition to support the individual. We all learn differently and at Polestar we enable our students to engage in education in a way that fits them. Our methods work with our students exceeding expectations year-on-year at GCSE.
Polestar provide tuition across the core subjects: maths, English literature and language, physics, biology, and chemistry. We also provide English as a second language tuition for both domestic and international students.

What Makes POLESTAR Different?
We provide education in an entirely online format. We don’t just teach through a screen. We are specialists who have devised novel and adaptive ways of engaging students through a virtual medium. We appreciate that online learning isn’t just delivering a classroom lesson to a webcam but is in fact a distinct and discrete branch of modern education.
Polestar tutors have training, experience, and expertise working with young people who require additional support. Our students have often struggled to engage with mainstream education whether because of additional needs, neurodiversity, anxiety, trauma, behavioural issues, or any other impediment to education. We work in a trauma informed manner building an educational provision tailored to the student’s needs, ability, and personal interests.
Who Are The POLESTAR Tutors?
All our tutors are experienced teachers who have delivered results in training and education online, in classrooms, and in industry. Each of our motivated and dynamic tutors has had a career in industry before training as an educator giving them a wider range of flexibility in how they present ideas. They all bring something different to a lesson that you won’t find in larger, mainstream classrooms. All tutors have industry qualifications as well as higher degrees and teacher training certification, enhanced DBS clearance, and a plethora of additional training and certified development. We all believe in lifelong education and constantly strive to increase both the breadth and depth of our knowledge across all the subjects we teach.
